Elusive goth icons Dead Can Dance have officially emerged from under cover of darkness to release their first new material in 16 years. Entitled, Anastasis — the Greek word meaning resurrection — the band’s new LP sees vocal duties split between original duo Brendan Perry and Lisa Gerrard, and features the usual, well-loved, sweeping cinematic pieces beside ethereal, spiritually-inspired hymns.
Anastasis is out now on PIAS. Fans may stream the LP in its entirety here.
The band have already hit the road in support of the record and will be making stops in North America and Europe through the end of October. (Dates below).
