Formed in 2008, Virginia minimalist post-pink trio Eternal Summers released a steady stream of EPs, 7-inches, and covers leading up to their eventual debut LP Silver in 2010. Thanks to persistent critical claim and tours with The Beets, The Raveonettes and Reading Rainbow along the way, the band became inspired to compile all their early odds-n-ends into one place. Entitled The Dawn of Eternal Summers, this 12-track collection will be released on Record Store Day, April 21st, on New York’s Kanine Records.

Cover lovers will want to pick up the vinyl edition of this release which will feature three exclusive interpretations of well-loved ditties Into Your Arms (The Lemonheads), A Salty Salute (Guided by Voices) and Down to the Wire (Neil Young).
